The Room The available bedroom is cozy — roughly 100-150 sq ft with one window. It doesn’t have a built-in closet, so a wardrobe or clothing rack works well. It’s a good fit for someone who keeps things simple and doesn’t need a lot of space to feel at home.

The Apartment The common areas are comfortable and furnished. Laundry is in-unit, right off the kitchen. First floor with direct access to a fenced backyard with a gardening area — a genuine perk in Newton. Street parking only, no off-street spots available. Utilities are included, with the expectation you will be conscious of energy consumption.

The Household I start my mornings early and quietly — meditation, journaling, a walk with my dog V. Evenings are low-key. I don’t smoke or and barely drink, therefore I prefer not to have substances in home — hopefully you’re ok with this. The home stays clean and organized and I’d like a roommate who treats their living space the same way. V is friendly and well-behaved. You must be comfortable living with a dog. No additional pets.

Who I’m Looking For A working professional or graduate student. Non-smokers only. Someone who respects shared space, and can easily share space and maintain it. Dog-friendly is non-negotiable.
