We’re looking for a 6th roommate to join our awesome house setup through CoLuxy, a coliving leasing group. One of the best parts is that your lease is completely individual, so your rent is never dependent on any of the other roommates. Management has been really cool about letting us post and help find someone who’d be a good fit for the group. We already have a great dynamic in the house and are hoping to find someone easygoing and respectful to join us. The available room gets amazing natural light thanks to three front-facing windows and includes hardwood floors, a French-door closet, and your own private full bathroom. The apartment itself is huge and spread across two floors. There are six bedrooms total, shared with five other roommates. The main level has a large living area, a modern oversized kitchen, in-unit laundry, three bedrooms, one shared bathroom, plus your private bathroom. Upstairs, there are three more bedrooms, another in-unit laundry setup, and an additional shared bathroom. The common areas are already furnished, including couches and a mounted TV in the living room. The kitchen is fully updated with high-end appliances, including a built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator. We also have off-street parking and access to a finished basement for extra storage or hangout space. Utilities are shared among roommates. No smoking and no pets because of allergies in the house. The location is super convenient — close to downtown shops, restaurants, and public transportation, with a direct bus to NYC just steps from the apartment.

I’m a Construction Manager at a small contracting firm, and the rest of the roommates are all young professionals as well. Everyone’s usually pretty busy during the day, but on the off chance we’re all around at the same time, it’s always a good hang. Right now the house includes an admin from a car company, a preschool teacher, a bio/computer science guy, and a server who’s currently studying to become a doctor.

The overall vibe of the apartment is pretty chill and relatively quiet most of the time. Everyone’s respectful of each other’s space and schedules. One regular thing I do is host a dinner every Wednesday from around 7–9:30 PM with a group of guys from my church, so I’m usually cooking something up then — and of course, you’d always be welcome to grab some food too. Other than that, it’s a laid-back environment, and we’re hoping to find someone with a similar vibe.
