Fully furnished room with a private in-room bathroom in a recently renovated home in South Medford, right by Magoun Square. The place is set up apartment-style, with each housemate having their own room and private bath.

The room comes with a desk, chair, bedside drawers, a wide chest of drawers, ladder shelf, storage ottoman at the foot of the bed, and trash cans — basically move-in ready.

The house itself has hardwood floors throughout, central A/C, in-unit laundry, and a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances (gas range, fridge, dishwasher).

Location is great — Magoun Square is right there, so you’ve got groceries, cafes, restaurants, and parks all within a short walk. Public transit is solid, and it’s an easy commute to Tufts, Cambridge, or Boston.

Sublet runs from May 20 through August 31, 2026, with the option to renew at the end of the lease if you want to stay on. $1,300/month, plus an even split of gas and electric with the housemates. Security deposit is $1,300 (one month’s rent), refundable at the end of the sublet.

I’m a grad student at Tufts about to graduate and subletting my room for the summer (option to renew). The other housemates are a mix of grad students and working professionals — everyone’s friendly but pretty independent. We keep to ourselves for the most part, say hi in the kitchen, but it’s not a super social house where everyone’s hanging out together every night. Good fit if you want a calm, drama-free living situation with respectful people who do their own thing.
