Northeast State Highway 104
About the room
Old, dog-ladies welcome with or without their well mannered, canine companion.
Your canine partner stays free. Must not bother the free range chickens wandering about, coming into the house to visit. Chickens like to be carried about for a better view.
Bring your own bedding, pillows and towels for you and your dog, dog dishes too.
Property is 3 acres; enough room to run off lease, dig a hole, garden, make a fire. Old, abandoned logging roads for miles of walking and hiking, a dog beach nearby. The towering cedar trees keep house and property naturally cool though the hot summer days.
On the bus line of Hwy 104 less than 2 miles from the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, and the foot ferry to downtown Seattle. Stay here while visiting family, get a jump start on your hiking trip into the Olympics. Stay here overnight to catch an early morning ferry.
Downstairs kitchen is vegetarian.
About the roomies
2 free thinking, independent, 4 year old dogs live here full time expecting life to be fun, wanting to make your acquaintance. One 69 year woman lives here, mostly fulltime, busy creating and messing about outside often not knowing where her turned off phone is. Partial to cribbage and dominoes down in the MaryJane Room. Enjoys sharing meals sometimes.
