Seeking roommate for 2 BR/ 1 BA in the heart of Silver Lake. You would be signing onto a lease for one year, after that it’s month-to-month. Must be able to prove income and go through credit check etc.

Charming older Spanish-style home with beautiful courtyard, Spanish tile, small back patio.

Walking distance to Sunset and the reservoir. Very close to L&E, Botanica, LaMill, Cafe Tropical, Silver Lake Ramen, etc.

House is furnished, but definitely has room for some extra furniture. Bedroom is unfurnished. Room is about 12x10 with built in cabinet and deep closet.

House has in-unit washer and dryer, but no central air.

Street parking only, but it’s not hard to find. (No street cleaning in the area.) Small garage but it’s only for storage.

There is a two-month deposit (this is an old ongoing lease so the new rules regarding deposits sadly do not apply).

Accessibility: This building has five steps up into a courtyard and three teps into the home, so not accessible, unfortunately.

I’m in my 40s, cis female, queer-ish, work as a writer and producer, and sometimes work from home. Originally from NYC. I travel often. I teach at UCB and sometimes do comedy. I cook often. I watch all manner of TV shows and enjoy quiet time when at home.

Overall, I’m pretty chill. I like to have an occasional dinner party, but prefer a calm home environment. Like to maintain the home and keep it clean, but not fanatical about it. I value equality, kindness, and communication, LGBTQ+-friendly, all that good stuff.

Love animals but travel too much to have my own, so bring your pets.
