This house genuinely feels like a home. One of its biggest strengths is the balance between privacy and community—there’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space while still creating an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and lived-in rather than cramped or impersonal.
Over the past few years, the home has undergone several upgrades and improvements. Features include:
• Spacious shared living areas
• Ample indoor storage
• Additional backyard shed storage
• Private downstairs entrance through the garage
• Privacy-fenced backyard
• Newly built deck
• Two-car garage
• Updated kitchen appliances
• Wood-burning and gas fireplace in the living room
• Brand-new plush carpet with thick padding (honestly comfortable enough to nap on)
An added bonus: the property management company handles lawn care and snow removal, which makes day-to-day upkeep significantly easier for everyone living here.
The neighborhood itself is one of the best parts: quiet, safe, and established, with many longtime homeowners and families nearby. The location is also incredibly convenient—within roughly 20 minutes of nearly every major shopping area in Lee’s Summit, with easy access to MO-291, US-50, and I-470 for commuting.
One important member of the household is my dog, Taboo. He’s a Dutch Shepherd mix with a big personality, extremely intelligent, and incredibly people-friendly. He absolutely loves humans and is usually the first to greet guests like they’ve been personally invited to a dinner party. Because he came from several abusive homes before I adopted him, he is unfortunately dog-aggressive, which means additional pets can’t be accommodated at this time. But with people, he’s genuinely sweet, affectionate, and very well-loved by everyone who meets him.
A couple important logistics notes:
• Per Lee’s Summit ordinance, the property may legally house up to four unrelated occupants total.
• All prospective tenants must apply through the property management company and meet their screening requirements.
Management company screening requirements:
• Credit score of 600+
• Total household net income must equal at least 3× the monthly rent
• No prior evictions or landlord judgments
• Criminal background reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• No housing vouchers accepted at this time
