About the property

Looking for upstairs tenants in a semi-duplex set up.

Start date: June/July (could be sometime in may if you want)

My husband and I live in the basement unit and you would be renting the upstairs portion (3 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, washer/dryer). They’re functionally separate units with a shared garage for storage and yard space. We have a separate entrance through the garage and you will have entrance through the front and back doors.

However, the house is rented as one unit so everyone will be on a lease together. The upstairs portion is $2000 and the downstairs is $1200 for a total of $3200. All utilities our in our name and we will split the cost with you (usually around $100 for everything, including fiber internet)

We have been here for a year, but had some complications with the last upstairs renter so we are looking for very stable, mature renters that will reliably pay. We are open to various setups multiple roommates, single, partners, etc.

A bit about us: we’re recently married in our 20s with a cat. I’m currently in grad school for social work and my partner works for a non profit in housing. We’d love to have (upstairs) neighbors that we could be friends with. We love a cozy night in but are also social and enjoy some low stakes nights with friends (movies, crafts, games, etc). Good communicators, queer friendly, and progressive.
