Two rooms available in 3br 2.5ba house rental in Jones Farm

Seeking one or two queer-friendly roommates to sign on to existing lease through December 2026. Must go through an application process with landlord, pass a background check, and show proof of employment and income, etc.

Each second floor bedroom is unfurnished and approximately 12x12ft, with built-in storage in closets and a shared bathroom. Exclusive use of an office space downstairs available for additional rent, perfect for working from home.

Total rent is $2800/m, and will be split between all roommates ($1400 each for two, or approx. $935 each with three people), as well as garbage, gas, electric, water/sewer and internet bills.

This is a large house with garage, backyard, garden, two car driveway (one spot available) and plenty of additional parking on the street. House has central heating and air conditioning. Property manager is good and takes care of problems quickly, and is willing to keep rent at the current rate as long as possible in exchange for taking good care of house and yard.

Shared two car garage for storage. Shared pantry, with a large fridge and additional chest freezer in the garage. There is a large garden (25x15ft) out back with a few perennial herbs and vegetables. Previous roommate did lots of gardening, and last year it yielded many tomatoes, summer and winter squash, onions, radish, etc. Large mature blueberry bushes provide fresh fruit all summer. Shared chores involve mowing the small lawn in the back and keeping the front yard free of weeds and leaves. Yard is also secure for supervised outdoor time for pets.

Area is a quiet, safe, and friendly neighborhood in the Jones Farm area. Walking distance to nearby Intel campus. Under 10 minute drive to Safeway and Costco. Nearest Trimet stop for the 46 bus is on NE 15th Ave.

Cats welcome, but must be non-destructive and friendly with another cat. You will have to pay pet deposit and monthly pet rent to landlord unless they have ESA paperwork. Dogs or other pets possible on an individual basis.

I’m 39, trans non-binary (they/them pronouns). I work full time 4 days a week, and spend my days off playing video games, watching movies, and making music. I have one male cat, The Goblin (age 8), who is very friendly and loves to play and explore the backyard.
