We are a husband-and-wife team who also live on the property, which is located in a quiet, safe, well-maintained, and cheerful neighborhood in the heart of the Tacoma Central District, nestled between the town of Fircrest and the Proctor District. The only downside is that we have no additional parking available, so we are looking for a female student or a female tenant who does not own a vehicle. You will have full access to the Common Living Area, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Utility Room with a Washer and Dryer. The room is fully furnished and includes a twin-size bed, desk, dressers, an armoire, and a closet. For your comfort, the room features a Smart TV and dedicated HVAC for personalized heating and air conditioning. You will have a semi-private bathroom with a shower located right outside the bedroom door. (Which means you would be sharing it with the upstairs female tenant) We also have an additional bathroom with a tub and shower, which can be used at your convenience as well. Due to the shared nature of the bathroom facilities, we are currently only accepting inquiries from female tenants. PLEASE NOTE: Because of the exceptional accommodations being offered, we cannot allow smoking, chewing, vaping, or pets of any kind on the premises. We are a strictly smoke-free (including vaping and marijuana) and pet-free home to maintain a comfortable environment for everyone. You are more than welcome to use the laundry room, relax in the downstairs common areas, and use the kitchen to prepare meals or join us for dinner. A refundable $200 damage deposit is required. The unit rents for $1000.00 a month. This price includes the cost of utilities. Also included in the price of the room, we will provide you with food for breakfast and lunch which you prepare for yourself and we will provide and prepare dinner, at our discretion, for at least 3 to 4 days a week and any other days of the week when we do not prepare dinner, you will have access to food in the refrigerator or kitchen cupboards for you to fix whatever you like to eat for dinner and you’re also welcome to any of the leftovers you see. Of course, if you prefer to cook all the meals yourself, we will provide you with the food to do so. We only ask that, for hygienic reasons, you refrain from eating your meals in your bedroom whenever possible. We are a strictly smoke-free home, which includes chewing tobacco, vaping, and marijuana. Also, to maintain a comfortable environment for everyone, we are a pet-free home. We are perfectly situated for commuters—just 1.5 miles from Highway 16 and 2 miles from I-5. If you prefer walking or transit, bus stops are everywhere, and grocery stores, banks, restaurants, the Nature Center, and Rainier’s Ballpark are all within walking distance. To ensure a great fit for everyone, we do require a background check for all applicants. We look forward to hearing from you!

You would be joining a household that currently includes a 20-year-old female TCC student and us (husband and wife) My husband is retired and stays on-site, so he is always available to help with Wi-Fi or any other needs. My husband’s name is Eddie; he is now a retired construction worker and spends most of his time here at the house. My name is Capri, and I am also planning to retire as well, but at present, I am working as a merchandiser for a grocery store chain that allows me to work from home, and periodically during the day, if necessary, I may have to leave home to check up on a store here locally. And not often, but occasionally, I may have to go out of town for a couple of days, for which I usually have ample enough time to prepare. We have been married for 47 years and have raised 2 sons. We have pretty much simplified our way of life; thus, we do not celebrate birthdays, or holidays, or involve ourselves in politics, yet we live a full and exciting life. We love to go on trips and vacations, and we are always up for new adventures and love sharing our experiences with others. We also have a very positive disposition about everyone and everything. We love all people regardless of their customs or heritage. We like having fun and making people laugh and enjoy themselves, and love cooking, singing, dancing, karaoke, going to movies, and watching TV, etc. If you like doing those types of activities, then by all means, you’re welcome to join us.
