We have a room available in a community focused household, located 25 min southeast of Portland on the edge of Damascus. (9105 SE 190th Dr). The room is 160 square feet, unfurnished, with a nice sized closet. Single occupancy rent is $800 a month plus 1/5th of utilities.

Our house is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, residing on a 4 acre piece of property. The land offers three large garden plots, abundant fruit trees and blackberry bushes, a barn, sauna, greenhouse and fire pit in a wooded area. The main communal space has lovely wood floors, a moderately sized kitchen, laundry area, newly refinished bathroom, sun room, and a large west facing deck with amazing views. The house has a washer, dryer, three fridges, a large freezer, electric stove, and new hybrid forced air furnace.

We are a group of friends focused on community living, enjoying a healthy balance of shared and independent time. Our current household has four people inside, with two others on the property with access to the house. We prioritize clear and direct communication, healthy growing relationships with one another, and sharing responsibility in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home. We also share the land with a flock of chickens, 3 lambs and 2 dogs.

The house roommates are kind, collaborative and love living at the property. We enjoy tending the land, nature, yoga, healthy food and are dog friendly. The house is community minded.
