Our home is a 2,400 sqft Rockridge craftsman on a quiet, tree-lined street tucked between College Ave and Broadway. You’re one block from restaurants, bars, and shops, and BART is less than an 8 minute walk. Temescal is a quick bike ride, and UC Berkeley is straight up College Ave. We’re close to everything but our corner of Rockridge is quiet and neighborhood-y, which is how we like it.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with hardwood floors throughout. All bedrooms are upstairs. Downstairs there’s a large living room, dining room, and an eat-in kitchen with a gas range, dishwasher, and big pantry. We have in-unit washer/dryer and a mesh wifi system that covers the whole house including the backyard. We love our outdoor space — in the summer we eat outside and sit around the fire. Our resident gardener has moved on, so bonus points if you want to get your hands dirty in the garden.

We’re two pals in our early 30s and an eccentric orange tabby cat named Esme. The energy in the house is friendly and laid back. We aren’t big party people, but we love to cook together, entertain, and be merry. We also love being outside and take lots of excursions together. We have different levels of extroversion and introversion and respect each other’s needs, but someone who enjoys house meals and making friends will be happiest here.

We enjoy taking care of our home and making it a space that everybody wants to spend time in. We keep things clean and organized and are often working on improvement projects, but life happens and that’s cool. We’re friends and we take care of each other. Ideally we’re hoping to find someone who is interested in becoming a core member of the house and loving it just as much as we do.

One note — Esme is a delight but she doesn’t get along with other animals, so unfortunately we can’t accept pets.
