Bright, sun-filled 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath, hardwood floor apartment located in the quiet Upper East Side. An 8 minute walk to the Q, about 15 minutes from the 4/5/6/. Quick walk to Carl Schurz Park and about a 20 minute walk from Central Park. The apartment features a spacious 12x18 living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge, dishwasher, oven, and ample cabinet storage, and excellent natural light throughout.

Your room is a 8.6x10.1 east facing unfurnished bedroom and includes its own split-unit AC/heat beneath an oversized window and a closet. Bedroom can fit a queen, armoire, and small desk. You’ll primarily have the large bathroom to yourself, with only occasional shared use for showers/baths.

The apartment will be furnished (Most the furniture is my roommates but she is going to leave the couches. I will replace the rest of the furniture unless you want to bring your own.) located on the 7th floor of an elevator building with key fob entry and a one-way video intercom system. Laundry is located in the basement, and there’s a trash chute on the floor. The building is well-maintained, and the super is extremely responsive and helpful.

I’m a 31-year-old professional working as an attorney on a hybrid schedule (typically 2–3 days in the office). I have a busy workload, so I tend to keep things pretty low-key at home—most of my time is spent in my room, with some time in the living room.

I enjoy cooking and am in the kitchen fairly often, and I also like to bake (fair warning: I usually leave baked goods out to share since I’m not big on sweets myself). I keep a very clean and organized home and am looking for a roommate who values the same level of cleanliness and respect for shared spaces.

I don’t frequently have guests over and prefer a calm, quiet environment—especially during the week. Weekends are more flexible, but I’m not looking for someone who brings the party home regularly. There is no smoking in the apartment but you do you outside of the apartment!

I have a pet rabbit who mostly stays in my room or is supervised when out in common areas—he’s large chunky boy but super sweet. (i do warn he has ruby red eyes!)

Personality-wise, I’d describe myself as an introverted extrovert. I enjoy making art in all different mediums, I’m a big fan anime, sitcoms, and horror movies. I go ham with decorating for Halloween and Christmas. I don’t blast music in the home but I am very much into electronic music and on the weekends i am often at a show and i frequently attend festivals. It would be great to live with someone I get along with, but I’m equally happy coexisting and doing our own thing.
