About the room

I have a private bedroom available starting anytime May 8th or later for sublease. This is a three-story townhouse in the La Jolla Village Tennis Club, shared with three other UCSD-affiliated students and researchers (male, early 20s). This is a quiet, studious household with respectful roommates. Rent is $1350 per month with about $50 in utilities.

The unit includes a spacious and furnished living room and fully-stocked kitchen. The bedroom shares a toilet and shower with one other roommate, but has a private sink. Bedroom easily fits a queen bed, dresser, and large desk, and optionally comes with a twin-sized bed, dresser, and a desk. Room also has a free-standing closet/dresser and has additional closet space in the hall.

The complex has tennis courts and a pool, and includes off-street parking for all residents. It is located very close to UCSD, main campus is less than 10 minutes by scooter, and about 20 minutes walking. The unit is directly on several major bus lines (including the 30 and 41) and a 10 minute walk or short drive to the blue line trolley. Grocery stores and the UTC mall are within walking distance.

Unit includes washer/dryer, dishwasher, and two refrigerator/freezers. Ample storage space is available throughout the apartment.

We hope to sublease the room starting in May/June through August 31, but there is some flexibility on either side. Pets may be considered (extra deposit and $50 per month pet rent).

About the roomies

The roommates are all affiliated with UCSD - one is a 4th year undergraduate, one is a master’s student, and the last is a visiting researcher. We have a quiet, respectful household, though have ideal space for hosting small get-togethers occasionally. We are LGBT+ and international student friendly. All residents are male, though we have no preference for gender.
