About the room
Utilities included! Private room available on Treasure Island. It’s a private room in a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse. The room is 11 by 12 feet with a 2 by 4.5 feet closet. The window is 4 by 6 feet. Monthly rent is $950. That includes all utilities; high-speed internet, water, electric, gas, washer and dryer in unit. Security deposit is $900. We have a back yard with raised veggie beds if you want to garden. There is no toll going into SF. It’s 1 block from a long walk/bike path on the ocean (see pic). You can bike to Emeryville. It’s a 10 minute drive to downtown San Francisco. There is plenty of street parking and we share 1 private spot. The bus runs every 15 min to the trans-bay/Salesforce terminal. There are a lot of Uber/Lyft drivers living on the island, so riding into SF proper is fast and cheap. If you want easy access to downtown San Francisco without the crime and pollution of the city, this is the spot for you. There are several good restaurants with outdoor seating, a midsize grocery store, and an outdoor bar on the island. Grub Hub delivers here. The air is always clean and cool on the island. We have that offshore ocean breeze!
About the roomies
Bodhi has been living on Treasure Island for 19 years. He is 46 and travels a lot for work. The other roommates are Joe and Joanna who are about 30 and are very clean/tidy. We are hoping to find a non-smoker (420 ok) who is also clean. We have normal house rules that keep the space clean and quiet. We are looking for someone who thinks having rules to keep the house nice is a great idea. We clean counters and dishes every time we cook or use the kitchen. We take our shoes off in the house. We started feeding stray cats and now have 2 indoor/outdoor cats and 2 semi feral cats that sometimes allow petting. We are already past our pet limit unfortunately.
