About the room
Just so you know, the only reason there is not a picture of the house by itself is because by providing a picture of the house, it can be posted in Google Images and my street address revealed, so for security reasons, I am not going to make that information known at this time. Should someone be interested and want to see the property in person, I’m fine with that. What you are seeing is an aerial view of part of the subdivision and yes, my house is in this photo.
Two story brick house with central air/heat. You would live in the upstairs (one large room, one smaller room and a full bath. There is also a bonus room that could potentially be used depending on the circumstances. Lastly, there is a 2-car garage, but the garage does need de-cluttering before any cars can be parked inside. Plenty of driveway parking and on-street if needed. The house does need some cosmetic TLC (paint touchups, carpet replacement, etc) but it’s pretty comfortable and inviting.
Neighborhood is in a very desirable zip code and location – all brick homes and quick access to medical, shopping, 840, I-24 and I-40. House is located on a side street of the subdivision and on a dead-end street in cul-de-sac. Neighbors are friendly and helpful if needed and keep an eye out for one another but also respect privacy and boundaries.
About the roomies
Widowed older male. Not looking for a wife or FWB, just looking for a “domestic partner/companion” who likes to help around the house, go for an occasional walk, prepare meals together, listen to music and drink a beer, etc. The house could use some female energy and I get along better with women than men. Be aware that there are cats on the premises…if you have pets we will need to discuss but I am not opposed to dogs or other cats (or other animals for that matter). Bonus points if you like to do landscaping (I can’t but that’s not a requirement). I have additional information to share that will be beneficial for us to review, including lifestyles, schedule, expectations, etc - just typical stuff to make sure we’re on the same page or at least in the same book.
