This is a brand-new construction build, so everything from the kitchen appliances to the HVAC is completely fresh and modern. You’ll have full access to the shared spaces, including the kitchen, living room, and washer/dryer. I have two bedrooms available to rent. They are completely unfurnished, giving you a blank canvas to set up your space exactly how you want it. Both rooms get great natural light, have solid closet space, and feature brand-new carpet. The house is located in Hubert, NC. It keeps you out of the heavy Jacksonville city traffic, but the commute to Camp Lejeune is still quick and easy. You’re also just a short drive down the road from Swansboro and the beaches at Emerald Isle.

Right now, it’s just me and my young daughter. I’m 25, work full-time on active duty, and I’m taking classes for construction management. Between work, school, and dad duties, my weekdays are packed, so I treat the house as a low-key place to decompress. I like to keep the common areas clean and organized. I’m big into bodybuilding and weightlifting, so the gym is a daily priority. When I’m hanging at the house, I’m usually doing a Marvel movie marathon or reading up on finance. If the weather is good, I’m out back grilling some arrachera or doing maintenance on my truck. Because my kid is here, keeping the place safe and drama-free is a top priority. No crazy parties. I’m preferably looking for active duty, but at the end of the day, I just want a reliable roommate. If you handle your own business, pay rent on time, wash your dishes, and are cool with living in a family-friendly house, we’ll get along.
