And a neighbourhood that somehow stays composed despite all that convenience nearby settled streets, residents who’ve chosen to stay, evenings that actually feel like evenings. It all adds up to something better than the sum of its parts.

Somehow, a forensic accountant and a landscape ecologist ended up creating one of the more functional households either of us has lived in separate rooms, separate rhythms, and a home that stays genuinely clean and quiet without any choreography. We’re both absorbed in demanding work and value the stillness we come back to. Not looking for a best friend, just someone thoughtful and tidy who understands that a calm home is worth looking after.
