Marjorie's room
About the room
Once youβve lived somewhere that genuinely balances access and atmosphere, itβs hard to go back. Shopping and transit right there not eventually, actually right there. Yet the residential streets surrounding it feel completely insulated from that activity. Calm, leafy, the kind of area where people walk slowly on purpose. The room holds its own too: entirely private, dedicated bathroom, no shared walls in any meaningful sense. Comfortable independence in a setting that earns it.
About the roomies
Clockwork schedules and a mutual love of quiet thatβs essentially what holds this household together. The two of us, a paediatric physiotherapist and a chartered accountant, each have our own room and enough personal space that we rarely interrupt each otherβs evenings. The home stays consistently clean, not through reminders but through habit. Weβd appreciate a housemate who brings that same self-awareness: tidy, considerate, and perfectly content in a home that values its stillness.
