Logistics: Rent: $650/month for the larger rooms, $350/month for the very small room if there is a third person willing to live in it.

The house is a lovely old two story with lots of common space and storage space on a quiet street very close to the McCarty’s cove beach. Downtown/3rd street and NMU campus are a short bike ride and a very viable walk away. The bedrooms are currently being renovated, so I will post photos as soon as they are ready - if I had thought ahead, I would have gotten some before we started that but here we are.

There is a piano in the house for common use.

I am from South Africa with a recent stint living in Berlin, Germany, during the course of which I discovered that getting to know your housemates in German is a great way to learn it, which is why I’m starting a language immersion house. If you got this far, and you speak French, let me know, I also speak French and if the German ad doesn’t get enough roommates, I’m happy to pivot.

I love everything outdoors, especially running and skate skiing. I teach Salsa at the PEIF and at Baila UP - look us up if you like to dance or want to scope out the potential housemate. I also love to make things with my hands.
