SUMMER SUBLET!
The Room: Spacious, light-filled with vaulted ceilings and a mini-split (heat & AC), this first-floor room is in an 1800 sq foot home shared with one adult, one young elementary aged child, and a hypoallergenic 14 lb doggo. We are a no synthetic scent, pork and shellfish-free, kind, conscious household. Move-in anytime early June. Move out August 1st.
The Home and Location: 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1800 sq foot home overlooking the Intervale in the Old North End. Very walkable, close to bus lines, UVM, downtown. Hardwood floors throughout and lots of character. Minimal jet noise and quiet for this very central location.
About the roomies
You: Practice clear communication, active consideration, and have a good sense of humor! Must be Queer-affirming and enjoy a gregarious child. You’re engaged in some kind of service in the world and are seeking a place to live that supports you in that.
You’re OK not eating pork or shellfish in the house. You work outside the home (mostly!). You enjoy a small, hypoallergenic pup (we’ve got one) but don’t have any pets of your own. You use minimal-no synthetic fragrances. You enjoy your privacy and also value real connection with those you share space with.
Me/Us: I’m an early 40s queer, co-parenting an early elementary-school aged child. I spend my time tending to my child, chosen family, garden, community, and myself! This home is my sanctuary and I’d like to share it with the right person.
