Elsie's room
About the room
It’s in the Vine neighborhood, in a quiet dead end shared drive, so there’s little to no traffic. It’s got pull through parking that’s off street, so you don’t have to worry about parking anyone in. It’s an older house, with local landlords that are honestly great. The room for rent is a bedroom on the smaller size, but the house itself has a phenomenal shared space downstairs, with a closed in three season entryway, a small sunroom that we’ve been using for an art studio, a living room that’s open to the dining room, that feeds into the kitchen, with a back door out to the back parking! It’s pretty standard, but I’ve lived in a whole lot of houses in the Vine for the last decade and this is probably the best location I’ve landed in.
About the roomies
Roommates are L and J (First Initials) and they’re great! It’s a very queer house, our group got together as coworkers at a public library, and now I’m sadly moving out of town, so we’re looking for a roommate to replace me. L has a medium sized dog and a terribly old cat, both of whom are wonderful, and L takes care of all their needs. L has a host of board games, is on the quieter side, enjoys crotchet and video games. J is also on the quieter side and has a full schedule, so they’ll be at the house for a day or two, and then you won’t see them for a few days. J is also into board games, big on DnD and women’s sports, and is an artist! They’re both wonderful people, so if you’re looking for a spot to land with some built in friends or queer community, this is the spot.
