About the room
This is a medium-sized room in a modest 2br apartment in a really lovely safe, quiet, pretty area of east Pasadena. I’m looking for a female roommate. I’ve lived here for three years and I really enjoy living here. There is a lot of natural light and a nice view, and it’s a small 4-unit building - all other tenants are very friendly! It’s very walkable and convenient to grocery stores, pharmacies, Target, freeway, etc.
The kitchen is big for those who like to cook and the bedroom itself has a decent sized closet, a small window and an A/C unit. The living room is furnished and the kitchen has all necessary pots/pans/dishware, etc. but if you have furniture, kitchen stuff etc. you want to bring we can discuss.
The aquarium in the photos of the living room is for my roommate’s snake but this will NOT be here when you move in!
About the roomies
I’m a 41-year-old grant writer for arts organizations and composer/clarinetist. My jobs are hybrid so sometimes I’m in the office (at a theater in Sierra Madre or a music school in Boyle Heights) and sometimes I’m working remotely from home. I’m very easygoing, kind and friendly! I’m often out at concerts or plays. I’m generally wholesome and I’m looking for someone kind and stable who wants to make a peaceful, safe home with me. Another creative, artsy or musical person would be great but is not necessary! I confirmed with my roommate that I’m easy to live with :)
I do practice clarinet at home occasionally but I’m happy to do this when you’re out of the apartment if you prefer. Other than that I’m a very low impact roommate!
There is also one cat here, Charlie, my Russian Blue. He is very friendly and sweet and generally well behaved. I’m open to other cats but only if we have a playdate first to see if Charlie gets along with them. My roommate had two cats and he got along with one but not the other.
