Just a few blocks from a couple parks in a neighborhood where I actually know a bunch of my neighbors (a lot of retirees). I just redid a bunch of my home, and have a whole basement with a bedroom, private bathroom and a living room just waiting. It doesn’t have a private entrance, but it does have a door that leads directly to the basement stairs.

It’s a 4-by town-home (technically a condo), gas appliances, with a big walk-in closet.

My only requirements are non-smoking (or vaping), and no animals. I have a pair of cats and they just started to get along with each other, so adding an animal isn’t in the cards for the household.

About the roomies

It’s just me and my cats so far (45 year old vegetarian guy working in tech). I love a calm home. Not calm in the sense that you can’t play music or watch some TV, more like folks are good to one another. If you’re a loud person, awesome! As long as you lead with kindness (and don’t make much noise after 10… neighbors).

I try to assume the best intentions in what people do, and I try to talk things through when needed. If you’re like that, we’ll get along just fine!

The startup I work for might be facing some standard startup woes, and if I’m unable to stay with them, I’m planning on returning to school to get a law degree (I already took the LSAT, just in case), so if you’re a student, or have a student’s schedule, it might just convert itself into a study home.
