About the room
It’s a duplex. Available July 1. The room for rent is upstairs. The room has a closet, carpet, and it’s big enough to fit a full size bed. I don’t have exact measurements. It’s by east Ave a few minute walk from a gas station, wegmans, and a couple fast food joints and bars. It’s quiet and the property manager takes good care of the lawn and so on. And for parking, upstairs tenants get the drive way.
When my current roommate leaves, she may take some furniture or not, have not hashed out those details. So gonna be in the process of furnishing the home and buying dishware. Theres an electric and wifi bill that is typically about $200+ total, and split between roommates. There’s a pet policy. I have a bird. That is in my room, I can ask landlord about any accommodations for emotional support animals or typical domestic pets. There’s a dishwasher. And cellar by the side of the house that leads to a basement for storage and a washer and dryer. There’s also quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. There’s also a back porch.
About the roomies
My name is Joey, I am turning 22 in May, I’m genderfluid. I stick to myself but I enjoy company and getting to know people. I have an associates degree in psychology and I work two jobs so I’m not always at home. I work as a Youth Advocate and as a Crisis Peer mentor. I earn well enough to pay rent and utilities so I’m strict on my.roommate being able to confidently do the same. I prefer the house to be generally tidy. Im the type of person to clean up my mess as I go and to make an effort with cleaning entire rooms every other few months. I’m not strict about having the house to be clean everyday or for it to look a certain way all the time. I just expect you to clean up after yourself. I have a busy life style. I work at night/evening mostly and l like to be out with my friends. But I’m always around in the morning for the most part. I’m creative, empathetic, flexible and outgoing.
