About the room
Hi there, I am looking for a roommate (no couples please) for the other bedroom in my very spacious and conveniently located, heart of downtown Jersey City, Grove Street apartment. Only 1 block from PATH. Must love cats! I have two cats, Smush and Digit, who are sweet and skittish. I don’t allow them in the bedrooms.
The apartment is large and extremely close to the Grove Street Path station(1 block)

- Very spacious living room

- Laundromat a few blocks away
- Heater and AC in each room
- Internet and electric together are between $30-$100 per month
- Security deposit is one and a half month’s rent.
This is an old and cozy apartment but it is an old building, by no means luxury. The room is furnished with a queen bed, mattress, desk, lamp, and night stand, but you’ll need your own bedsheets.
I’m a clean and quiet, yet sociable roommate and am looking for the same. I’m a 40 year old M. who works from home and occasionally travels for work for 1-3 week periods. I have lived with both M. and F. roommates and left on great terms with them, i’m happy to provide them as a reference if we find mutual interest in your subletting. About the roomies
I’m clean and sociable, but tend to prefer quiet at home. I am more of a homebody when i’m home, but I work in entertainment and am often gone at night! Sometimes I travel for weeks at a time for work. I also usually spend one or two nights a week at my girlfriend’s place. I’ve had roommmates who mostly keep to themselves and some that were more social, I tend to adapt to the energy that works. I’m really big on communication so I like to have one night a month to just check in and make sure I’m being a good roommate and ask if there’s anything I can do better and vice versa.
