Hey I’m currently living in a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom located in the Hyde Parknarea and both of my roommates are going to be moving out this summer and looking to find 2 new roommates for a 12 month lease. Move-in is for July but the lease would have to be resigned by May 24th.

Rent is currently 2360 a month, so just under 800 each, with utilities included except for electric.

The bedrooms available are 11’ x 10’ 6“ and 11’ 3“ x 9’ 5“. There is A/C and heating, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Biggest downsides are that I don’t own the furniture in the living room/kitchenette so those are going to have to be replaced and the bathroom has a ventilation problem.

There’s on-site laundry (2 washers, 2 dryers) and the apartment is right above the laundry room so you don’t have to be out in the weather for long when the cold season starts. It’s 2.25 for a load and the laundry room also doubles as the biker storage room if you have one. If you just so happen to have a car, street parking is free. You just have to move your car whenever they have scheduled cleaning.

You’d have access to 5 different grocery stores and 2 different drug stores. There are buses that can be taken to half of them. There are also buses that can be taken to the green and red line nearby, the Metra line that’s also nearby, and the South Loop.

• I’m a relatively introverted person and I only have friends over every now and again. • I like to keep the apartment relatively tidy. • I’m a pretty big night owl, but try may best not to make too much noise if I’m out in the living room, but I sometimes have to go to bed earlier than others so I would also need someone who can try to keep noise to a minimum as well. Same thing goes for having to wake up really early in the morning. • Some of my favorite things to do is watch horror movies, play pool, and go thrifting.
