Seeking 1 roommate for 2 bedroom apartment in East Rock New Haven, CT

I am looking for 1 roommate to rent a 2 bedroom apartment in New Haven. I am currently planning to move out of my 3 bedroom east rock apartment into a 2 bedroom apt with the right roommate! I haven’t selected the apartment yet because I’d like to secure a roommate first. But once I have a roommate lined up I am happy to take the lead on finding and securing the place. Also, I have all the fixings for a full apartment so if you don’t this set up could be perfect for you!

Preferred move would be June 1st but flexible for the right apartment/roommate. Apartment budget is 2200-2300/month split evenly.

I am a queer 29 year old female with a 7 year old medium sized dog (<40 lb). I am a horticulturist who has been living in New Haven 10+ years. I am hoping to find someone responsible and friendly of any gender or non-binary to rent with. I appreciate someone who communicates and has experience with dogs since mine would be living with us of course.

Some things about me, I am a queer board game nerd, crafter, and thrifter. I love to be in nature, and engage with community. I’m also 420 friendly but of course happy to keep that out of the apt. I enjoy a friendly dynamic with my roommate but not required if you are someone who would prefer to keep to yourself.
