Hello! We’re looking for a temporary guest for our room from May 1 to July 15, while we’re out of the country. (We are also looking for someone for a different room from May 10 to July 15, see our other listing.) Please read carefully, most questions are answered below.

Situated in the renovated basement of the house, this room is our office as well as an occasional guest room. It includes a large walk-in closet. Kitchen, living room and bathroom are shared with one housemate.

The whole house comprises 3 independent apartments but functions as a community. There’s a small garden out back that’s shared by all residents and where we sometimes have gatherings. There’s never an obligation to be social, however;)

We welcome all nationalities and identities. What matters is that you can be responsible, communicate well and live cooperatively! We rely on each other to keep shared areas of the house clear and clean.

Rent includes internet and all utilities. There is shared coin laundry, plus a workshop and bike storage in the garage. We’ll ask you to take out insurance for the time of your stay (~$15/mo). We’ll ask for the first month payment in order to stop looking for someone.

7-minute walk to the beach on Sherwin. 5-minute walk from the Red Line stop Jarvis (where there are some nice cafés/restaurants). 7-min walk to the Howard stop, with access to the Red, Yellow and Purple lines.

There is one other roommate in the apartment. You’ll cross paths and can engage to the degree that feels comfortable to both of you!
