About the home - it is a newly updated two-story home in South Austin conveniently located about 15 minutes from downtown and 5-10 from Southpark Meadows. It has a roomy backyard and tall privacy fence. The neighborhood has lots of mature trees. It is quiet and peaceful.
About the room - Your room has a smart lock and an attached closet and shares a bathroom with one other person (of the same gender). The home has all new wood floors on the top floor, including your room, and new paint. The room is 12x12 and unfurnished.
Common areas you will have access to in the home include a spacious living room and kitchen, downstairs bathroom, and laundry room. There is also a shared work station available downstairs in the kitchen that overlooks the backyard (I have my own office in my room so this would only be shared with you and one other roommate).
About the roomies
Hi! My name is James and I have been living here for 12+ years. I am great with electric, plumbing, and renovation work and my home is my favorite project so I have done a ton of updates since I purchased it. I generally keep to myself, work from home remote, and travel often in my RV to the coast with my male mini-schnauzer, Axel, who is very friendly with all humans and animals. (I occasionally also have a small neighborhood poodle mix come over named Biscuit who is Axel’s best friend.) I’m looking forward to meeting you!
