AVAILABLE IN MAY 5 bed 4 bath home; room for rent! This room is upstairs and shares a bathroom with 1 other person, but the toilet and shower are in separate rooms that the doors can close in for privacy.

The room has a north-facing window and a walk-in closet. Ample storage space in the bathroom with both a cabinet, and a linen closet. There is additional storage space in the pantry (where you will have a large set of shelves to yourself), the garage, and the library/office.

The home has 3 floors, whole house fan, central air and heating, a beautiful kitchen with a gas range, a living room with a record player and speakers, a small main floor bathroom, an indoor wood-burning fire place, a shared office & library space for studying, reading, or hanging out that has a pull-out bed for guests, a small home gym in the garage, in-unit laundry, and a large dining room perfect for dinner parties. Outside, there is a large back yard and garden which are perfect for kickbacks and spending time outside (complete with a fire pit!) with chickens and a chicken run, and a front yard tea garden with raspberry bushes, apple trees, and some young pear trees.

Two hypoallergenic indoor cats live here, dogs are welcome if well-trained and cat friendly (with a pet deposit), but due to allergies, we cannot have non-hypoallergenic cats in the household. We also have 2 reptiles.

The rent includes the room, outdoor parking, in-unit laundry, a monthly cleaner that comes to tidy common spaces (kitchen, main living room, main floor shared bathroom, and library), repairs, a set of shelves in the walk-in pantry, and hot tub upkeep. Utilities are charged separately through City of Fort Collins, amounting to ~85-100$ per month, depending on usage.

We are welcoming of all gender identities, and are LGBTQ+ friendly, asking that you are the same. Our ideal roommate is someone who likes to garden, watch tv or have movie nights with roommates, cleans up after themselves, is willing to help out with general household chores, likes cats (ours are very social), reading, baking, cooking, and eager to join in on craft and game nights. We are not a “throw a rager” kind of household, but we love a kickback with friends! This is a relatively quiet neighborhood.

We welcome students & non-students, everyone in the household is between 21 & 25 years old, with multiple of us attending graduate school. We would prefer people around our age, but are happy to have anyone that is tidy. One of us works early mornings on weekdays, so we get quiet relatively early at night.

I am currently working on tidying the yard & indoors as I recently got surgery and fell a bit behind. Sorry for the mess! We can’t wait to meet our future roommate!!

We have a couple (one of which is having to move for work), and 3 other roommates currently with one moving out. We like to have a tidy space, and host kickbacks and dinner parties with friends. We have 2 cats and 2 reptiles, and the cats are hypoallergenic. We like “grandma activities”, making music, gardening, and going outside.
