Amber's room
About the room
I have a room in my spacious (1150 sq ft), 2-bed 1-bath apartment opening up in June. The apartment is incredibly close to the U, so if you are a student, you wouldn’t need to drive or if you do drive, would have a very short commute. It’s a very quiet building, so it’s great for studying or relaxing after a long day. The apartment has tile (kitchen/bathroom), hardwood (living room), and carpet (bedrooms). There is tons of natural light from all the windows. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and gas stove. Laundry is shared by the 3 units in the building, but it is NOT coin-op, and I haven’t had issues finding time when the machines are open to do my laundry. Much of the common room furniture was left by previous tenants or is mine, so you would mostly just be furnishing your own room. Gas, electric, and internet are paid separately.
About the roomies
I am a PhD student in the microbiology and immunology program. I am pretty quiet, and spend much of my time at home doing hobbies to relax from research. I’m often home just watching TV, reading, doing puzzles, crafting, and hanging out with my dog. My dog is an adorable corgi named Delilah, who will want to play fetch with you at any opportunity. Because of the lease, no other pets are allowed.
