Looking for a roommate — Studio near downtown Orlando

I’m a remote worker who moved here in February, it’s a 10 months left on my lease. Rent without utilities is $1149. This listing includes utilities and rent for $650; we’d split the cost as roommates.

The space is a studio with a partitioned private bedroom area. Two open entryways with curtains for privacy, and a full wall-length closet that would be all yours. The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and mattress with 4 storage drawers underneath, a matching dresser and nightstand. I sleep and work in the living room, so the bedroom space is yours. There’s a large kitchen, a bathroom with a tub. The building has trash disposal on every floor, elevator access, secured parking garage, and Amazon Locker within the building.

The building is quiet and respectful. I don’t hear my neighbors. It’s about 5 minutes from downtown Orlando, and within walking distance of public transit, a lake, and a coffee shop. Parking is available. I’m selling my vehicle, so the space can be yours.

A few logistics. Utilities are included, but Wi-Fi and cable are not. Spectrum hookup is ready to enroll. Laundry is coin-operated and shared with 2 to 3 other studios on another floor. Pets are welcome per the community’s pet policy. Cats and dogs are permitted with authorization, subject to possible restrictions, and with liability insurance through the leasing office. An annual PetScreening profile is required.

Easygoing, respectful, and low-key. I’m clean without being a neat freak, and not sensitive to everyday noise. I’d describe myself as an ambivert. I enjoy being social but also value my own time.

I work remotely, so I’m usually home during the day. Evenings are pretty routine: gym, studying, or unwinding, so the environment stays calm and consistent. I clean as I go. Dishes don’t sit in the sink, and I’m easy to coordinate with in shared spaces.

Outside of that, I’m into traveling, cycling, working out, jogging, learning salsa, and watching movies. I’m currently studying computer science.
