About the room

Hey! Thanks for stopping by. I’ll try to give you a real picture of the space and household rather than just bullet points, because I think that’s actually how people make good decisions about where to live. Also, I just like talking about this house because I genuinely love it, so. 😄

The short version: This is a fully furnished master suite with a private en-suite bathroom in a renovated home in the Country Creek community in Altamonte Springs. It’s the largest room in the house, it’s on its own side of a real split floor plan, and the bathroom alone is worth the price of admission. I lived in this room myself before I started managing the property. I’m not just talking it up.

The room: It’s 16x12, which comfortably fits a king bed and still leaves plenty of room to breathe. It comes furnished (bed, dresser, nightstands, all neutral and nice), and the furnishings can be swapped out if you’d rather bring your own. There’s also a large walk-in closet with shelving, marble-look tile floors, and a ceiling fan. The en suite bathroom is what people tend to notice first. Floor-to-ceiling marble tile, glass walk-in shower with a built-in bench, matte black fixtures, separate vanity. It’s the kind of bathroom that doesn’t feel like a room rental bathroom. More like a boutique hotel, except it’s yours every day and you don’t have to check out.

The home: It’s open-concept and bright, with vaulted ceilings, skylights, a stone fireplace in the living room, and a Smart TV. The renovated kitchen has stainless steel appliances and TWO full-size refrigerators because I decided early on that fridge space would not be a source of conflict in this household, and I stand by that decision. There’s an in-unit Samsung stacked washer and dryer, a TV in the laundry area (it sounds unnecessary until you’re in there and then it sounds great), a fenced backyard with a fire pit, and security cameras on the property for added safety.

What’s included: • WiFi • Trash and recycling • Professional lawn service • HOA fees Water and electricity are split among roommates (typically $80 to 120/person/month when all rooms are filled, so your estimated all-in is roughly $1,280 to $1,320/month).

The community: Country Creek has a semi-gated entry with a covered bridge and canopy of hanging trees that makes coming home feel like arriving somewhere intentional rather than just…parking. I always describe it as a little luxury mountain sanctuary tucked into Central Florida, which is admittedly a lot to say about Altamonte Springs, but I think it holds up. There are also 2 pools, tennis and pickleball courts, racquetball and basketball courts, and winding walking and biking trails.

Location: About 5 minutes to AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, Costco, Publix, and Walmart, and about 12 minutes from Altamonte Mall. I-4 and SR 434 are very close, and you’re not far from Seminole State, Winter Park, and Downtown Orlando. You’ll want a car or reliable rideshare (it’s Central Florida).

About the roomies

About the roomies: There’s currently one other tenant living in the house. She’s a hard-working professional in her early 30s who is calm, easygoing, and great to live with! It’s a quiet, respectful, clean, relaxed, and genuinely peaceful household, and we’d love to keep that energy going!

About me: I genuinely poured my heart into this home. Honestly, this is the place where I grew into myself, and some of my past roommates became real friends, even if only briefly. My dad handles maintenance and lives 5 minutes away, and between the two of us, we genuinely try to take care of both the house and the people in it. Past tenants have been nurses, students, teachers, therapists, entrepreneurs, people in tech, marketing professionals, hair stylists, and a whole lot else (a great mix of humans!), and honestly, almost all of them have been really positive experiences. I’m proud of that. I want whoever moves in next to feel like they landed somewhere good—a place that actually feels like theirs, not just somewhere available.

Other things to note: • No smoking anywhere on the property (outdoors included) • No pets (keeping things allergy-friendly) • Single occupancy only • Background check required (nothing scary, just standard) • Security deposit: $1,200 • Minimum 3 months preferred, longer terms very welcome.

Interested? Just send me a message with a little about you, when you were hoping to move in, and for how long!
