Hi! My current roommate is moving in with a friend, and I need to find a new roommate to move into my two-bedroom apartment. Rent is $575 per month for each person (a total of $1150). The room is unfurnished (current pictures show the room with my roommate’s stuff in it). It is close to U of O but surprisingly quiet as there are a lot of families in the complex and thick walls. The bedrooms are also tucked back in the apartment away from the road. There is a dishwasher and on-site laundry that is paid for via an app. Water is covered by the complex but we pay for internet and electricity (17.50 each for internet). There is parking available, but it may require payment (I can check with management if you’d like). Only therapy or emotional support animals are allowed with supporting paperwork (I have 3 rats).

I am 25-year-old student and aro-ace. I would love to room with someone else in the lgbtq+ community who is in their 20s or 30s and lives a fairly quiet life. I have two rats and need to clean their cage using the bathroom once a week. I like to keep things fairly clean but can sometimes get a week or so behind on chores when things get busy or my mental health gets bad. I am big on open communication and would like to room with someone who would be open to discussing household matters together. Let me know if you think we might be a fit and want to chat more!
