Affordable private furnished room in the San Diego area, located in El Cajon—just 12 minutes to SDSU and Grossmont, and close to popular San Diego neighborhoods. Perfect for someone working or studying in San Diego who wants lower rent without sacrificing convenience or comfort.

We have a private furnished bedroom available in our 3 bed / 2 bath home, about 12 minutes from SDSU. The room is 10’ x 9’ with a large 3’ x 10’ closet (plenty of storage). It comes furnished with a twin bed, desk, lamp, 40” TV, and a 4.3 cu. ft. mini fridge with a top freezer. We’re in the master bedroom, and the two other bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house. Bedroom #2 is occupied by our current roommate Aidan, and bedroom #3 is available.

What’s included in rent: All utilities (internet, electric, water, sewer, trash), plus household essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and cleaning products. We also have shared cleaning tools and a robo-vac that helps keep common areas tidy. Any streaming services we subscribe to are available to you as well.

There are three roommates living in the house: my husband, our current roommate, Aidan and myself. We’re in our 30s, and Aidan is 22.

We’re looking for a roommate who is friendly, clean, and respectful of shared spaces.

Occasionally, we have art, game or movie nights, and brunch. Whether you want to hang out or keep to yourself, either is perfectly fine.

A little about us: I work in sales, enjoy running, working out, cooking, and arts and crafts. My husband enjoys music, podcasts and literally can make friends with anyone. Aidan is vegan, enjoys working out and video games.

We also have two dogs: a Frenchie and a Bulldog. Both are house-trained and they stay in their crates when we’re at work.
