Hi! I know room listings can start to blur together after a while, so I’ll try to just be real about what this is, rather than making it sound fancier than it needs to be.

This is a private, unfurnished bedroom in a renovated home inside the Country Creek community in Altamonte Springs. The room is simple and clean, a blank canvas for your own furniture and style. What makes this listing stand out is really the home it’s part of and the environment you’d be stepping into.

The room: Private, unfurnished bedroom with a decorative upper shelf that runs along the room, which is a nice little detail you don’t usually see at this price point. You’d share a renovated bathroom with one other roommate. It’s clean, updated, well-maintained, and has nice fixtures. The split floor plan means the master suite is on a totally different side of the house, so day-to-day it feels more private than many shared living situations actually do. This is a single-occupancy room, so just for one person.

The home: Open concept, vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace in the living room (yes, in Florida…it’s charming, don’t question it 😄), Smart TV, renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and two full-size refrigerators. Fridge space drama = eliminated. There’s also an in-unit Samsung stacked washer and dryer, a TV in the laundry area (because why not), a fenced backyard with a fire pit, and security cameras on the property for added safety.

Included in your $850: • WiFi • Trash and recycling • Professional lawn service • HOA fees Water and electricity are split among roommates (typically $80 to 120/person/month when all rooms are filled), so your real all-in is roughly $930 to 970/month.

The neighborhood: Country Creek has this semi-gated entry with a covered bridge and canopy of hanging trees that makes you feel like you live somewhere a little special. I always call it a mountain sanctuary tucked into Central Florida, and people either immediately get it or drive through it and then get it. There are also 2 community pools, tennis and pickleball courts, racquetball and basketball courts, and walking and biking trails.

Location: About 5 min to AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, Costco, Publix, and Walmart. About 12 min from Altamonte Mall. I-4 and SR 434 are very close. Close to Seminole State, Winter Park, and Downtown Orlando. You’ll want a car or reliable rideshare (it’s Central Florida, walking to work isn’t really the vibe here).

The household: There’s one current tenant: a female working professional in her early 30s who is easygoing, kind, and mostly out working during the day. We’re looking for someone who’s respectful of shared spaces and just a good human to share a home with. Students are 100% welcome. In fact, we’ve had great experiences with students here!

About me: I genuinely poured my heart into this home. I lived here myself, and honestly, it’s the place where I grew into myself. My dad handles maintenance and lives 5 minutes away, and between the two of us, we genuinely try to take care of both the house and the people in it. Past tenants have been nurses, students, teachers, therapists, entrepreneurs, people in tech, marketing professionals, hair stylists, and a whole lot else (a great mix of humans!), and honestly, almost all of them have been really positive experiences (some even became real friends, even if only briefly). I’m proud of that. I want whoever moves in next to feel like they landed somewhere good, a place that actually feels like theirs, not just somewhere available.
