$950 per month (800 rent, 150 utilities). Flexible on lease. Open to month to month or shorter stay, but hoping for someone who is interested in 1 year + if it is the right fit.

I will have a room available starting in August or later in a wonderful house in West Salem with a very large yard and lots of trees, flowers, and garden space!! Common spaces are furnished. I have a second couch now, but will be replacing the dining table and coffee table unless you have one! I also have a medium sized dog named Molly so needs to be someone who likes dogs!! Small shared bathroom is only downside, but very ok with making cleaning it and coordinating use a priority!

Very flexible so let me know if there are any details you want to work out. Possible to have someone with a dog, but Molly is a sheepdog who takes time to get comfortable with another dog and it would take some time and effort, and a dog that can handle her being overly interested and herding them for a while. Definitely not good with cats or small kids.

I am a kind and laid back nerdy introvert who is happy to do my own thing and also happy to make friends! I like to keep the common spaces tidy and clean, and make sure everyone is comfortable. Would prefer someone who doesn’t intend to have company very often. I work from home in healthcare and have my own office at the far side of the house.

I am very open and good at communication and boundaries!!!

I bought this home with help from my parents for my long term girlfriend and I a few years ago, but she has to move down to California with her parents for a few years due to them having serious health and financial difficulties. Just looking for a roommate who I can live comfortably with and who will be respectful of the space and my pup. Will be a few years before I am either ready to sell this place a move to Cali with her, or her come back up here depending on how things go with her fam.
