Living here is like living in a resort. No matter your stress, once in this area and neighborhood, you are overcome with a calmness unlike living and working in the city. The home atmosphere is pretty much laid back. As for particulars, you can either enter through the front door, or if you prefer, you may enter through the private entrance from your downstairs bedroom patio which opens to a greenbelt walking path. This is a newly furnished room, including a mounted, smart, flat screen TV. Cable and Internet is included, as are the blackout drapes, linens and towels. The 2 pools & jacuzzis and private neighborhood beach are close, as are other amenities. Additionally, I pay for your entrance to the private Mission Viejo Lake which includes lake swimming, and many other fun water-based activities. These however require affordable rental fees: electric rental boats, paddle boards, sail boats, etc. There is also the lake’s wildely popular Summer Concert Series and 4th of July fireworks extravaganza. Parking at the house is in the driveway by permit as it is a 24-hour guard-gated community.

I have a 1 yr old Yorki-Poo rescue. He is very sweet, groomed, and hypoallergenic. As for the people, I’m Suzanne, the pup’s human and homeowner. I’m an entrepreneur and very busy either at home or on the run. The other roommate is going on 3 years renting from me. He is a terrific guy and extremely clean. He also has a very busy work schedule. I am still friends with former house mates who have gone on to home ownership or moved out of the area. This is a very mellow, no drama, living situation.

The area: Just outside the guard gate, there are several lakeside restaurants, cleaners, banks, and a gym. The following beaches are close by: Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano and others. Hospitals, Medical Centers, Retail Businesses, Universities, Colleges and major Freeways are all very close.

On a personal note: Like you, I have rented a room in someone else’s home. Nothing is worse than after a long day’s work, coming home to the feeling that you’re the eternal guest in an assigned room and are walking on egg shells! It is my intention that in my home, you feel welcome and can enjoy and relax in your surroundings.
