About the room
CURRENTLY, THERE IS NO IN HOUSE WASHER OR DRYER. THERE ARE MULTIPLE LAUNDROMATS NEARBY. The city of Joliet is in a very convenient spot, being close enough to Chicago where you can commute via i-80 or the train, but not super overcrowded like the city is. We have multiple grocery stores/general stores within a 20 minute radius, and JJC, ST Francis, and Lewis universities are all within commuting distance. The room is on the second floor, it has two windows and space enough to fit a full (snugly) and a desk, plus a closet. It also has shelving built into the wall by the door.
About the roomies
Everyone who lives in the house are in their mid to early 20s. Some of us are still in school, some of us are employed full time, and all of us are gamers. We have two men and two women living in the house, so gender isn’t a problem. We do have roommates who work as early as 4 am on the weekends, so weekends are typically more quiet than usual. We have two cats, so we are not accepting roommates who have large roaming animals like cats and dogs. If you want to keep a hamster or snake, that is absolutely fine! About the room itself, the tiling is old but unable to be replaced, so there is staining but no damage to the floor. Room modifications such as screws or nails in the wall is fine.
