Hello! My name is Gina (they/she). I’m a post-grad working professional in their 20s, and I’m looking for 1-2 people to join me in my apartment starting June 15th (1 year lease), with an opportunity to renew.
About the place – In Sunderland, a very peaceful property on farmland. Right on the 31 PVTA and 31 FRTA. 15 min to Amherst, 20 min to Noho & Greenfield. There is a pool, exercise room, and study room. The only utility we pay is electricity ($10-30/month/person). We have a dishwasher, as well as a in-unit washer/dryer. Off-street parking available for all tenants. I HAVE A CAT, so people with allergies or other animals need not apply.
Rent prices depend on whether I get 1 or 2 people to sign the lease. 1 person joining → $1080/month (living room. would be a common area). 2 people joining → $650-$800 per person depending on whether they’re in living room or bedroom (Personally, I lived in the living room for 3 years, and it was a very positive experience).
What I’m looking for – Femme or nonbinary person(s) in their 20s, ideally not a student anymore as I am no longer one. Keeps environment clean, is conscious of people’s needs, and pays rent on time! Willing to collaborate on household chores, and open to roommate check-ins and shared meals once in a while! Someone who enjoys living with a cat is essential. Someone who has recent rental history and has a stable enough income. Must pass the apartment’s credit & history check.
I am a post-grad working professional; queer, fat, abolitionist community organizer and full-time crisis responder. I’m generally tidy and organized, but am accommodating of myself and others during times of less cleanliness. I consider myself to be clean, conscious of others’ needs, and creative. This lease term will be my 5th year here, and I am from Western MA, so this is my home community.
