I’m considering a for a Roomate for my husband. Your rent would be significantly reduced if you are a good fit and yes it is open to male or female roommates. If you have any criminal history or use drugs or have a history of substance abuse sorry but you aren’t a right fit. I will not be there as I’m finishing my doctorate in May 2027.

He is currently doing a research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN and we are looking for someone who can save free up his time so he can focus on his work. Basically a good fit is someone who can manage housekeeping duties (cooking for the week, keeping the place clean, return packages as needed etc).

In exchange your rent would be $500/month and the utilities would be split. The apartment is in a luxury apartment that requires an electronic tag to enter the main entrance and package room. There is a gym, pool area with all seasons pool, a game room that has golf simulator and other simulator type stuff, a community room with a pool table, and in the lobby is an automatic espresso machine. Almost everything is walkable. There are a dozen or so places to eat within 10 min walking, and a few bars.

The apartment costs us 2k/month plus utilities, your portion would be 500/month + utilities.

My husbands a research fellow in the orthopedics department and will usually be working 6 days a week. Some days he’s out of the house by 6am other days he starts later but majority of the time he will be working from home. He spends his time either working, going to the gym, playing with our two cats or setting up his simulation racing rig.
