Excellent location — just a 5-minute drive to the beach, 15 minutes to Fort Lauderdale Airport, and only 2 minutes from I-95.

Restaurants, shops, and two Publix supermarkets are conveniently located just across the street.

Pets are NOT permitted. There is already a dog living in the home.

I have been hosting on Airbnb for about 11 years and am now transitioning to having longer-term roommates instead of short-term guests. Over the years I’ve received many great reviews and I’m generally very easy to get along with. I enjoy creating a peaceful, respectful home environment.

I do like to interact and be friendly with the people I live with, but I also value personal space and quiet time. The front living room is my space where I relax and watch TV in the evenings.

I travel occasionally and sometimes spend time visiting my home country of Norway, so there may be periods when I’m away for a while.

I appreciate a tidy and organized home and expect roommates to help keep shared areas clean and respectful for everyone. If you use the kitchen, please make sure dishes are washed and put away before leaving the kitchen.

A few house guidelines that are important for a harmonious home:

• Please keep your room and shared spaces clean and tidy. • The shared bathroom is expected to be kept clean and in good order after each use. • If using the kitchen, clean up after yourself and put dishes away. • No eating in bedrooms; meals are enjoyed in the kitchen or outside on the back deck. • No smoking inside the house. If you smoke, you may do so on the back deck—please be courteous of others in the home. • I don’t bring boyfriends to the house and expect the same from my roommates. Overnight stays for partners are not permitted. • My children visit from time to time, and my grandson occasionally stays with me. • My dog Suri is also part of the household, so you would need to enjoy being around dogs.

Overall, I’m looking for respectful, responsible roommates who appreciate a calm, clean, and comfortable home. If you’re someone who values a peaceful living environment and mutual respect, we will likely get along very well.
