Private room available in a quiet home in the Jacksonville / Hubert area. The room includes bathroom access and shared use of the kitchen and laundry. Utilities and Wi-Fi are included. The home is located in a safe residential neighborhood and is a short drive to Camp Lejeune, shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. Parking is available.

In exchange for the room, we are looking for someone willing to help with childcare for our young son. Compensation includes free rent plus $300 per month.

Our son is in pre-K, potty trained, and usually sleeps through the night. Childcare help is typically needed about 3–5 days per week depending on work schedules. The schedule will usually be either overnight supervision from about 7 PM to 7 AM or afternoon/evening hours from about 3 PM to 7:30 PM. The schedule may change every few months depending on work schedules.

The husband works on a rotational schedule and is often away for work, so the childcare help is mainly to provide support while he is away. We are looking for someone responsible, trustworthy, and comfortable living in a family home environment.
