About the room

This is a 2-room combo for $1300/mo. Extra you space. This is perfect for someone that wants more than just “a room for a bed”, and not just a single bedroom in somebody else’s house.

About Me: I am a 36 y/o male with a girlfriend that will be moving in at beginning 2027. I work in IT sector with a 4 day work week 12 hour shifts, 6a-6p. I tend to keep to myself.

About Home: The house is brand new construction 4 bed and 3 bath home. There is high speed WiFi thought the home, and all utilities are already included in the rent rate. The Kitchen, Living, and Dinning room will all be public spaces. I do not cook, so the kitchen is free for whatever. The living room will have a couch and TV, loaded with ample streaming services. The ‘Study’ shown in floor plan will be a extra storage room that I intend to use. My desk/work area will be in my own bedroom.

About Area: It is in a brand new community area with a high HOA fee (I pay that, you do not). That can only mean a bomb shared community area (once built, maybe end of year?). It will even have a lazy river! And supposedly a future elementary school and retail areas, which is probably a few years away from being built anyway. There is still new homes being built in the community, so if you are graveyard shift or a vampire, this most likely is not the place for you.

About Rooms: There is ONE (1) area available, and it is a combo of two rooms with one bathroom.

— 2nd + 3rd Bedrooms - $1,300/mo - Unfurnished (Option to have Furnished with basics) — The combo. These are two rooms right next to each other, with a bathroom right next to it. One room will have a small closet (not walk-in) and the other will have a walk-in closet. Use one for your bedroom, and the other as a personal office/study area with a desk, workout area, game room, or whatever! If you need furniture, such as a desk or couch in the extra room, we can work something out. You will also get your own garage parking spot! < Please see floorplan in pictures >

As this is a new home, I do expect a high level of care. Examples would be no mounting TVs to the wall. If pictures were to be put up on the wall, they have to be the small picture nails for that purpose. If you have a roller office chair, get a cheap rubber floor mat not to cause wear on the carpet. You know, the typical stuff that any apartment scrutiny would render a security deposit to be deducted from if not fixed on a move-out. Leave it as you found it mentality. If one were to have guests over, guests are expected to use their respected dedicated bathrooms of the inviter.

What I am looking for: Looking for peaceful roommate with no drama or crazy life. The more boring the better. The last time I had a roommate was almost a decade ago, and for many years we kept to ourselves and our rooms. It was peaceful with no drama, just going about our lives with the occasional few hour talk to every few weeks to catch up.

Should be noted that this is a no pet home, sorry.
