Room opening near downtown and campus in a queer and trans household at the begining of March! Rent would be $656 a month.

There’s one medium sized room opening up on the bottom floor of our three bedroom, one bathroom, two story home that we are looking to rent out. Trans fems and QTPOC to the front!

We are a household of an artist, a musician, and a digital artist/gamer. Two of us are a couple and are very sociable and community oriented, the other likes to keep more private. We often have friends passing through for meals, games, music and craft making, and other social activities. Whatever energy you like to bring to the space is welcome as long as you are someone who can practice direct communication and is respectful to the house and the various energies in it.

The house is a walkable distance from all major features of downtown Eugene and U of O. There’s plenty of opportunities for work in the area along with immediate access to multiple bike routes. One designated parking space is avaliable for the house, currently no one here has a vehicle so it’s mostly unused.

Common spaces are kept clean and well organized. Contribution to maintaining the common spaces is expected and appreciated. House meetings can be coordinated around our schedules.

The room that is currently opening up will be empty and unfurnished and yours to do as you please with so long as you’re not remodeling or removing permant fixtures. The pictures listed show the room furnished, but the room will be empty when you move in. There’s a closet and windows.

First and last month’s rent due prior to move in. The security deposit is last month’s rent ($656) and will be reimbursed if there is no damage left behind when you move out.

Utilities are due monthly and are typically under $100 per person during the winter and are typically under $50 per person during the summer. Internet is approximately $20 per person per month. Sanipac is $27 per person paid every 3 months.

Free roaming pets (dogs and cats) require a pet deposit and approval from the property manager. There is currently one well behaved elderly dog in the home and one affectionate cat.

There is ample storage space in the basement, which has a washer and dryer on site in it.
