This is a bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment, with your own bathroom (not attached). Not a shared room with anyone. Made a mistake when first listing it. Location is NE Raleigh. The bedroom is on the small side, but I don’t have much furniture in the common area, so you’re welcome to fill it and decorate as you’d like. In-apartment washer and dryer. Fiber internet connection. I don’t watch regular cable, but you’re welcome to get it if you want. Assigned parking space. There is a medium sized back deck area. I’ve got a fire place thing, but I’ve never used it, so it may need an inspection/cleaning before use. Kitchen has standard appliances, plus a dishwasher, decent counter space. Happy to answer any questions about things I might be missing here.

Bills are split in half, so per person: Rent is 775, electric is usually about 60-70 (the highest it’s been is ab 120/person, though that’s not common), water is usually ab 40-45, Internet is 35. Deposit isn’t needed, it’s already paid and in my name.

You would be replacing my current roommate on the lease, which ends in April, at which point I plan to resign it. I’ve been here about 3 years now.

I’m 35, PC gaming is my usual hobby, and I work IT from home, and at night (3 and 4 days a week). Current and previous roommates have said there’s little impact or bother from it. I can be a bit of a ghost roommate, but happy to be friends if we vibe. Generally though, pay bills on time and be fairly clean and we’ll get along. If you like to cook for more than yourself, I am more than happy to contribute funds to groceries/meals.

I'd prefer a non-male roommate, but its not a hard limit. No hard drugs or alcoholics. Smokers are fine, but it has to be kept outside on the back deck. 420 is not preferred, as I'm allergic, but willing to talk about it. Pets aren't preferred, but happy to talk about it (There is a pet fee, but idk what it is, would have to talk to the landlord). No kids, or couples, there just isn't space. LGBT+ and Alt/other community friendly.
