I have a large ground floor primary bedroom with en suite bathroom available for rent on July or Aug. 1, 2026. The room has a king bed, Danish modern dressers, a large walk-in closet, Roku TV, and a kitchenette with mid-sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and electric kettle. French doors open from the bedroom onto a 1/4-acre back yard with fruit trees that overlooks green space to the SW and offers a beautiful view of the Santa Monica mountains in the distance.

About the roomies

I’m a professor in my 50’s working on getting my groove back after my divorce. I share my nice 5BR home in a quiet suburban neighborhood with three shy cats, a LOT of books, and two other housemates, a 29 yr old college student and a 34 yr old engineer. Everyone shares access to the main kitchen, laundry room, and living/dining areas. We’re on friendly terms, and once in a while share a meal, but all of us are pretty quiet and introverted people, and we tend to spend evenings in our own rooms. I’m hoping to find a reliable long-term renter (or couple) who thinks they might be a good fit in our peaceable kingdom.
