Thanks for your interest. This is a great opportunity for someone who values community living in a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration. We have an opening this month with flexibility on move in date. Very comfortable and quiet corner room, (only had 2 long term roomates over the past 12 years:) We’re excited about the potential of another cool housemate so please reach out if you think you’re a good match for our place.

This beautiful house is located on a quiet, residential street in Seattle’s Brighton neighborhood. Conveniently located 1/2 block from Othello Park and just a three block walk from shops, coffee/restaurants, grocery and the Othello light rail station which can get you downtown or to SeaTac airport in under 20 minutes (and now to Federal Way as well). Also, quick access to I5, I90, Georgetown, Columbia City, Beacon Hill, Mt. Baker, International Central District, VA hospital, First Hill, Seattle U, Capital Hill, West Seattle, University of Washington, bike trails, the lake and more.

The house features a spacious floorplan with great natural light, beautiful hardwood floors throughout, a large kitchen with granite countertops and modern appliances (gas range, dishwasher, microwave etc). Nice back deck with patio furniture (even has a view of Mt. Rainier in the distance on sunny days:) Large fenced backyard with fruit trees, raised vegetable beds and greenhouse. Bonus points if you enjoy gardening and plants!

The bedroom is good size (approximately 12’x15’) with large closet and plenty of additional storage space if needed. It is currently furnished with a comfortable queen bed & linens, desk, chair, rug, lamps and a large dresser. Window shade and black out curtains are also provided. Room could be emptied if new housemate has their own stuff to furnish the space.

All utilities are included along with laundry access, fiber internet. A parking spot in the driveway is also included.

Must be able to demonstrate good credit check and provide first/last month’s rent.

We are 2 men and one women, 20’s to 40’s in age, working professionals’s who appreciate a healthy balance of friendly community and individual privacy. The house layout is a great fit for this dynamic and everyone has always felt at home living here.

As this is a house and not an apartment, good chemistry is really important. That being said, we are all very open minded, conscious and humble people seeking someone with similar intention. Ideal candidates would be financially and emotionally responsible, clean and courteous, and respectful of all common areas. Interests in music, art, good food and conversation, nature, philosophy and non-dogmatic spirituality always appreciated!
