The House and Property: We are looking for another roommate for a furnished bedroom in our house in Multnomah Village. The house is furnished and rented by the room - currently rented to professional guys in their 20s and 30s with super low drama and great vibes. This is a fully furnished room that shares the main home living room, dining area, kitchen, two bathrooms (with three other tenants), laundry room and flex space barn in the backyard (gym/ piano, extra hang out space). The backyard is a little oasis with cafe lights and multiple covered decks/ patios, garden beds, producing fruit trees, a lawn for games, and a barn flex space.
The room: The room is large with many windows, it has a comfy queen bed, desk, office chair, AC unit, and built-in closet.
The home: We charmed the house out big time and roomies have stayed 3-7+ years! Renovated and interior designed by an award-winning designer - the owner put loads of thought and care into the home. Wood flanked walls, a live edge countertop, a large dining area and an open floor plan with tons of windows. The home also has a shared barn for extra hang out space, garden beds, an outdoor covered dining area and outdoor lounge areas surrounded by fruit trees.
Qualifications:
Roommates: Three guys in their 20s and 30s in the main home (all genders/ orientations are welcome!) and a couple in their 20s in the lower garden level apartment (shared laundry room, barn and garden). Upstairs roomies: one works from home, other two are hybrid/ all on various schedules. It’s a great balance of hanging out occasionally but also giving a lot of space to each other (all rooms are large with their own desk areas). Pretty chill vibes and great communication.
Utilities + Services: $180 This is a FULL SERVICE home meaning everything is included with utilities (can’t pick and choose as the expenses are split). Utilities include: - Trash/ recycling/ compost - Electricity - Gas - Water/ Sewer/ Stormwater - High speed wifi - Yard maintenance every other week (mowing, pruning, etc) and Monthly cleaning. Utilities are calculated each spring based on the prior year’s total.
