About the room
Looking for the perfect summer base in San Diego? ☀️ I am offering a lease takeover for my spot at The Rive, a high-end, modern apartment complex specifically designed for students and young professionals.
The Space: You’ll be staying in a spacious, fully furnished 2-bedroom apartment. The room is a shared 2-bed setup with a shared bathroom, but here is the best part: since my roommate usually heads home for the summer break, there is a very high chance you will have the entire room (and the bathroom) to yourself for the price of a shared spot! The unit features a large, modern kitchen and a cozy living area with a flat-screen TV.
The Building (Resort Vibes): The Rive is known for having some of the best amenities in the College Area:
Pool Life: Access to two resort-style swimming pools and hot tubs—perfect for those San Diego summer days. 🏊♂️
Fitness: A massive, state-of-the-art gym so you can cancel your other membership.
Study & Work: Several modern study lounges and community spaces if you’re taking summer classes or working remotely. 💻
Convenience: The building is very secure, modern, and high-end.
The Location: You couldn’t be closer to the action. It’s a 20-minute walk to the SDSU campus, or you can hop on the free Shuttle Bus that runs directly from the property. You’re also close to local eateries, coffee shops, and the freeway to get to the beach in no time. 🌊
Bonus: Since I am moving back home after my semester abroad, I am happy to leave all my kitchen equipment behind for you (pots, pans, plates, etc.). You can move in with just your suitcase and feel right at home! 🍳✨
About the roomies
You’ll be sharing the apartment with 4 other students (all Americans) who are very chill, friendly, and easygoing. 🤝
The Vibe: The atmosphere in the apartment is relaxed and respectful. Everyone is busy with their own schedules, whether it’s classes, work, or exploring San Diego, so it’s a great place if you value your privacy and a quiet environment to study. That said, the roommates are always up for a friendly chat in the kitchen or a quick update on how the day went! ☕️
Cleanliness & Routine: The common areas are kept tidy, and everyone is mindful of shared spaces (especially the kitchen and living room). Since I’m a student finishing a semester abroad, I can vouch that it’s a very welcoming and “low-stress” home.
Privacy Bonus: As mentioned in the room description, since it’s summer break, you’ll likely have a lot of extra space and privacy as the guys tend to travel or head home during the weeks when there are no classes.
